The day when red bulls saved me

It was summer of 2010, june to be precise. I was in the garden city of bangalore to take my CFA level 2 exam. It was a great relief to be in bangalore after experiencing the scorching heat in hyderabad through out the summer. I had the exam next day and i was revising the formulas and concepts some 200 of them through out the day. I felt asleep at 4 pm and slept off lazily. I woke up and it was 7 in the evening. after having some food i started studying again. I was so tired and slept off again at 9. I was only halfway through my revision and that fact didn’t bother me then. I woke up and found to my surprise that it was 3 in the morning. I had to study some new concepts too. Then, I have concluded that i would screw up the exam for sure. I started to study very scared and the exam was at 9 in the morning. By the time it was 7 i realized i was really sleepy. I rushed to find a shop where i could get red bulls. I was roaming like crazy shop after shop to find them. No one seemed to know about red bull in yashwanthpur, a suburb of bangalore. Then i waited for the bars to open with hope that i can find the bulls there. To my surprise the bars were open at 7 30 in the morning. I couldn’t find the bulls there too. I was sure i was going to get screwed. There i found a auto guy who was looking at me when i was asking the bar guy for red bulls. He told me that he would help me get some. He was the saviour. He made my day. He took me through a long long route to my exam center and we found red bulls in a small store some where on the way to the exam. I bought 5 of them. I had off two before the morning session. I was on a high laughing when i got the paper. Everything seemed so easy. I was smiling off like crazy. Had the examiner seen me he would have pushed me out for sure. I had 2 more red bulls in the noon before the afternoon session. I could write the afternoon session just because of the red bulls. And the last one i had off after the exam. I love red bull now and i’m sure that the sole reason why i could write the exam was red bull.
